Objectives

 

Update Morocco's vocational education and training (VET) landscape

Modernise curriculums, particularly in textile engineering and technical textiles, by collaborating with Moroccan VET institutions

Empower trainers and students Through innovative learning methodologies and knowledge sharing

Fostering a culture of innovation and enhancing the international dimension of the Moroccan technical textile sector.

Results and activities

 

With the objective to bridge the gap between current offerings and industry needs, TechTex will introduce virtual training modules via a MOOC format, complemented by a flipped classroom approach, all accessible through a user-friendly digital platform. Additionally, a comprehensive train-the-trainer program will equip educators with best practices and instruments, ensuring sustainable replication across the Moroccan textile ecosystem.

By enhancing the relevance, accessibility, and responsiveness of VET institutions, TechTex project will sustain the future of Morocco's textile industry, unlocking new opportunities and driving a sustainable socio-economic development on both local and international scales.

Partnership

 

The TechTex partnership brings together 8 institutions with complementary profiles and competencies, including VETs, training centres and industry related profiles. Partners belong to four EU Member States, i.e Turkey, Spain, Greece and Italy and one third country, Morocco.
